Both games are in development, so we can't compare the first initial releases yet. Planet Coaster current release is planned for late 2016. An alpha will be launched in March 2016.

If you have visited the Planet Coaster forum or Facebook page, you will know that PC will have guests that are wonderfully designed with emotions and amazing animations. The rides look very promising. I'm a CHC member.

Currently, RCTW looks more realistic to me, and PC looks more cartoony to me. Both games have their advantages and downsides. If you want to list every difference, that will then be a long list. But as both are in development, there is no final comparison possible yet.

I would like to add that I am looking forward to both games and that I bought both games. I have played RCT since RCT1, so I am a long time fan of the franchise. I have been following development of RCTW for a few years already, but only recently become active on this forum.

Atari and Nvizzio, we wish you the best!

Both games, but for now I prefer Planet Coaster.

I have to see if Atari improved enough the game in the next Beta to convince me. I love the visual style of RCTW, but there are some things that need to be solved, with this delay they are improving some of these things, but we still have to see if the results are good, I hope that yes.

Anyway, I have RCTW and I will buy Planet Coaster. I am interested in both games.

My primary concern with PC is Frontiers marketing technique. If Elite Dangerous is anything to go by then you can expect PC to become very costly over a few years.
Yea sure they might not go down the same route with PC but ED has reviled itself to be borderline scammish, with the recent "addon" costing as much as the base game and actually being a standalone so its not really an addon at all.
Its basically ED 2016 a totally separate game that functions in the same universe. The majority of updates will now be aimed at the newer version so the already thin with content version (I stoppped playing 9months ago because it was shallow have checked in a few times but found updates added very little) just gets left behind and now I have to rebuy it to get a slightly less shallow version for another year until ED 2017 is released.
I wouldn't mind if I had been made aware early on that my money was basically a subscription, I was under the belief it was a base game that would receive DLC turns out that just isn't the case
If PC turns out to take this form of marketing on, I'll be leaving it alone for a couple of years untill its actually worth the price tag, time will tell what happens with PC its way to early to call anything

As an Elite Dangerous player myself, i do agree with you that the base version of Elite Dangerous needs to be improved with a lot of new content. There could be a lot of things added.

I don't agree with everything else you say. They very clearly stated many times that planetary landings (divided into airless planets and things like earth), multicrew and all that was coming with expansions. You can find a lot of articles, newsletters and youtube videos from 2014 going back to even 2012 describing exactly that. That is also why they had the "Lifetime passes". They only big thing they changed was about adding solo play, but that is a whole other story. If i remember correctly you can expect 3 more years of "season passes" for ED.

For Planet Coaster they already said in various media that they will keep working on this game in the future. At this point they haven't said anything official about expansion packs, but you defenitly can expect them to release expansions in the future.

Also been said that creating dark rides features probably don't make it on time at release, because they are working on it and need time to make this great. This will probably be released for free, but that is not confirmed. The launch date is at the end of next year so there is enough time to give us more info about it.

I don't care pay a high price for PC, looks like it will be a good game, then where is the problem?

Atari is selling the Deluxe version for 60$, that's not too much money, too?
