Lightbulb RCTW is back on Amazon.de

    You can preorder it again...

    release date: 10.12.2015 (realistic?)
There's no hint that this could be a download version.

Mattlab mentioned a preorder cooperation with Amazon...
If I preorder it, can I participate at the second beta test?

(Yes this new thread is necessary because the old one was closed rashly!)

But what about the preorder cooperation thing?

It's not a "preorder coopereration" if I just preorder it...

Not exactly! You can only participate if you have a steam key but you don't have to buy it at steam. There are online game Shops where the keys are cheaper. I think there will be no advantage in the amazon order. I don't know if the user created content will be available too, if you have it without steam.. I'd recommend to use a steam key.

I'm pretty sure that I have to activate the boxed version via steam, too!
I really want the boxed version... (I hate to download as many GB)

Isn't a download of a big game still faster than the courier bringing you the boxed copy? (if such a copy even exists).

A download's quicker but there something to be had when you get unwrap a fresh boxed copy. That new box smell, the printed guide pamphlet, the disc. A physical copy just has a more permanence to it. Something to treasure, IMO. I'm inclined to wait for a physical copy as well, if made available.

Some people prefer vinyl records over digital music.

Boxed lol?! Are you hoping they will deliver this game to you in 1992

I know what you mean about physical stuff though. And I miss the days of randomly sized and shaped PC game boxes lining the shelves of all my friends 'computer rooms'.

LOL. With the rebirth of the tycoon game that started it all; I think it's time for a rebirth of in-store boxed games.
