Control Booth (1st person Ride Operator)

I love the control box at the stations. What I would love for you guys to do is give us the option to control the ride. IE make the loading gates close, bring down the safety bars, and start the ride. Also, give us an office to control the whole park where we could go in and have like a desk and we could look at eveything and make changes to the park like finances, have interviews with potentials employees would be fun. Maybe give us a park manager that we would control as if we were in the park, but also letting us have the view we have now in RTC 3. This was for the RCT World i posted in wrong

A feature which I believe would be great for RCTW is: Operate a ride!

I know it is not possible for rides like slides, the haunted house, a maze, , etc.) but how cool would it be;
- to launch a coaster from the loading platform
- start and stop rides
- control the speed for the Twister Ride, Top Spin, Pirate Ship, Free Fall, Ferris Wheel etc.

and this all from the viewing point of the operation booth and/or eagle view.

Funny idea, but usually the rides are automated and only have a start button. Being able to see things from the operators view would be cool though.

Great Idea , Being able to control rides is something that is needed if they want to call it a simulator
Even if its an dlc/update once the game is running smoothly or a mod

I think this idea would add to the overall 'magic' of the game.

It's not something you'd spend all your time doing, but, it's one of those extra things which really add to the depth of the game.

Having said that, I'm sure some will sit there operating their rides for a good while. Combine that with perhaps a bit of challenge (faulty controls, time challenge to get things done in time Etc) and I could see this being something very beneficial to the game.

So there was this game called No Limits Fairground. Google it. It let you operate flat rides.
But one of the cool things it allowed you to do was "record" the different inputs over time, save that "playlist" to a profile, and then "play it back". Some rides were more fun than others, like the Top Spin and Breakdance rides where the different settings would have an effect on the ride vehicle(s).

I could see something like this possibly making it's way into the Steam Workshop.
So yes, good idea.

Fun to see people share the idea. http://www.themagical.nl/simulations lets you operate some flat Disneyland Paris ride, which can become pretty complicated haha.

But a more simple solution... should be possible for a Rollercoaster game!
