    Nvidia gtx 970
    512 gb ssd

I want to upgrade my monitor along with all that but I am so clueless as to what to get. I don't know if it's better to go with 4k, 1440p, or strike with 1080p. Or even 60 hz, 144 hz or what's a good response time on a monitor either. I was looking at a xb280hk. Any thoughts?
    look at this

    and

i will buy one of these
    Intel i5-3470 3.2-3.6 GHz | 2GB Gigabyte GV-R7870C | 8GB DDR3

If quick response time is important, then choose TN. If you want better colors and viewing angle and can live with slower response time then choose IPS.

What is the most important in RCTW?

Then there are MVA, PVA etc (even better but more expensive). For RCT3 i use my IPS monitor (coaster cam is not that important to me). And 1080x1920 resolution will be perfect for me even with RCTW.

My thinking is that a chain is never stronger than its weakist link. If you buy a 4k monitor without having the strength in your computer to feed it well, then I can't see the point with that.

As I said before, I lay my money on buying a better computer with dedicated video card etc. And wait a couple of years with the 4k monitor. To get even better performance for a lower price. That's a good advice where to put your money, if it's a limited resource and you want advice on that. Be my guest.

Edit: I just checked my IPS monitor response time: 5 ms. With 60 fps I can live with that (maximum refresh rate is 60 Hz).

I add to my previous reply that I now see that this is a TN monitor. Yes, high resolution and short response time. But it will not give you the best colors or contrast or viewing angle or... (see my previous post)

I just am not sure what a good monitor would be to get unless I go 4k. I would love a bigger monitor than what I have (23 inch 60hz, 5ms) my friend has the same setup as me and is able to run metal gear solid on ultra in 4k without problems... help hahaha

Not worried about viewing angle as I'll be right on top of it ...3 ft away maybe. But colors... idk

I ordered it last week. I don't understand why it's taking so long.

    One more question. Would a 1440p 144hz 1ms be better than a 60 hz 4k 1ms with gsync?

We actually demoed the game to press at Pax on an Acer B326HK. Not endorsing any particular monitor or anything but it does look beautiful in 4K!

Thanks I'm just not sure my single gtx 970 would handle 4k.
