Thread: These are the Flat Rides people want in RCTW

i couldn't agree more. im very disappointed to see we are getting so many themed attractions... Let me use a generic model and theme it with scenery etc.

Agree 100% on the generic flat rides.
On another note: I hope Atari is paying attention, because you just showed them how to make a video to get people hyped for the game. I think we can all agree that this video is way better than the crap "gameplay" trailer without actual gameplay footage Atari came out with.

Or even a theme option per ride would be nice.

That's the thing. This isn't just a failure to make the game look much more modern than RCT3, its a failure to think about the game itself in a different way (other than bolting on the 'online' stuff, which I'm fairly sure no one is that bothered about really).

These look a bit like what I imagine mattlab sees when he watches the RCTW trailer

Must be so very proud. RCTW are really pushing the boundaries.

Maybe it would be nice idea to include them into the game as not every flat ride out there is heavily themed

He's clearly seen the rides before - how else could he fulfill the promise of making this an RCT game for the newcomer and long term fan if he hasn't gone through RCT3 in detail??

    This is fishy..

These are all already in-game. Why would he say these look great? I was under the impression the dev teams had played RCT3?

I'm not accusing, you may have just been referring to, yeah these look great; we'll sure have them in the next game.
