Yep, back on topic. I don't have it (nor will I...), but I think someone mentioned that there is a monorail in Touch? Anyone know if that's true and how does it work? Any other transport rides?

From what I've seen (admittedly little) there's a number of things in Touch that we don't have in RCTw (which is a whole other issue I won't go into here...). At least it seems they have worked on other things we haven't seen in this game yet.

I'm still looking forward to see transport rides in RCTw. I love trains, monorails, chairlifts and trams.
I personally consider "early" to be Jan or Feb. Including March would make it "Q1" although they are kinda the same thing, so I will still be satisfied if we get it by the end of this month (also assuming the update is actually good).

That's the biggest indicator to me the game is on it's last legs. Nook's streams were just about the only actual interaction with the community, yet to my knowledge he hasn't streamed since maybe December? I'm expecting Transport Rides to be the last update (or at least significant one) before they call it quits. Water rides/dark rides, anything else we have pleaded years for seem to only be possible if they add them as DLC/expansion pack, but I highly doubt Atari is planning on that for multiple reasons (#1 being money shortage).

Yeah, normally I would consider early 2017 as January and February as well, but I was "so kind" to include March to give Atari more room.

To be honest I do not expect transport rides for RCTw ever. I have given up hope, thanks to Atari who remain completely silent and told us so many lies. My trust in Atari is completely gone.

I think you're expecting far too much if you think they're going to come out and say 'we will not be adding transport rides to RCTW'. That's just never going to happen and anyway silence is effectively the same. If I'm not mistaken it was @Silent0siris who said they were coming early 2017 so perhaps start tweeting him for an update? A few keep going on about gestures, haven't we learnt by now how things are done here?

I sincerely hope most of us have learned that by now. I certainly do not expect nor think that we will get any word about the matter of transport rides from Atari (Atari, proof me wrong!), but nevertheless it would be appreciated if they do.

Correct, pretty sure it was during the stream they did for full release, somebody asked him in comments and that was his answer.

If they are actually working on transportation, does anyone actually think they're going to function correctly? They'll probably act as a ride like previous RCT games.

You can probably count RCTW as dead, Atari with it.

Lies at every corner from Atari about it, luring in then disgusting core franchise players, silencing it's own personel and NDA test group, broken promises and lack of transparancy. False claims about the potential and reality, very bad publicity and a total lack of dedicated management.

In facts, Atari is about to lose rights and royalties on RCT franchise in 2019, which belong to Chris Sawyer. This entire mess was made so RCT name does not survive it's Atari rights ownership, so no one else makes money about this title. The fact is they milked the title one last time. The franchise is not theirs, and was never.

I would like to say thanks to Atari for over 7 years of blackout after RCT3, and ATARI WILL DO THE SAME NOW.

It's not without reason ATARI wen't bankrupted. It's a failure all together.
Atari is better out of the videogame world, or stick to casino games/videopoker machines for the baby boomers, as they know nothing about videogaming in 2017. There is something very wrong with this company(Atari is actually about 20 companies together in a holding).

Even if they finally spit out the transports rides at this minute, it would not be enough for me to launch the game now. It slipped too far and there in no turning back. Even if they issue a huge patch containing all of what is missing, it will not save RCTW.

As one unwritten commerce rule, if you annoy one customer, he's going to tell 10 others about it. If you please one customer, he will only tell an average of 3 others.

    Ah! And where is Peaches?

They usually update the game every 5 weeks (at least they've done so since august 2016) and the last update was from February 10th, so the next update will probably be released on March 17th. We've seen some pretty good updates since the "official release" of November 2016, therefore I don't see a reason to complain at the moment.
More than 2 weeks have passed. Still, no transport rides... Too bad we still haven't heard anything at all regarding the current status of this announced feature.
