i was at Six Flags Great America 2-3 weeks ago and they had ads for RCTW all over their screens with the words "early access" fairly small so they could easily be missed. So to a certain extent Six Flags is at least promoting the game through advertising.

Can confirm this. Was there yesterday and the TVs had RCTW ads. I don't personally think they are actually HELPING each other, I think it's just an advertising thing. SF has the TV stuff, and on their app it advertised the game. What does SF get out of it... Just simple money? That's my guess

Probably, as the above said that they were advertising.

They're probably supporting Planet Coaster too as frontier hired one of the parks out for a few days to do research :3

Not that you're interested but there's a dev blog that shows one of their team members recording audio at a Six Flags park.
