Thread: Improved brakes and boosters.

    Improved brakes and boosters.

Sometimes friction brakes are good. They should stay.
    Sometimes constant force boosters, likewise.

However, it would be very good to have speed adjustment via calibrated brakes, i.e. instead of setting force, set actual coaster speed. Ditto for boosters.

Of course said brakes and boosters have to have power limits like any other brake or booster, there's no magic asked for. I don't expect a 1-segment brake to pull a coaster from 99 mph to 18. Nor would I expect a single peep to survive the experience Acceleration must be limited!

    Support +1.

Similar to the terrain editor's height limit option, brakes and boosters should have a speed limit. Once the train accelerates/decelerates to the desired speed, the booster/brake disengages.

and a gforce scale! That would be helpful.

I mean like a scale that u can change to change the force of the launch/brake, but in terms of Gs you would experience.

Well, yes, the two things of concern are the G force and the exit speed (not exceeding the G force of the machine, of course).

It would be nice to set both.

I wonder how many plus ones we need for this to become a thing.
