No money to be made if they did that. Shame because there's talented folks on the interwebs that would be willing to fix RCT World.

If Atari wanted to milk this franchise for all it's worth; It'd behoove them to sell a physical boxed version. And paid addon packs or downloadable content. The fact that they haven't - means they...
There's promises (hopeful truths?) and actual promises. (deliverable) RCTW teetered throughout it's rocky development with some of those promises no longer being attainable for reasons X or Y or Z. I...
An open dialogue would have gone a long way with repairing this brand and it's community.
🎶 Is there anybody out there listening to my story...🎶
Your lighting setup is always killer! Very cool screenshots. There's probably a few Disney Imagineers that are envious of your RCT3 skillz.
Happy belated! Sad when an auto-generated birthday notice feels like a stab in the back.
(Hope it was a good one!)
Nice production value! Very cool.
I believe in Atari less. The game itself is OK but not very user-friendly or pretty. (make your joke here)
We can all band together and wish for a Christmas miracle involving more development on...
looking good!
What did I miss? Is RCTW still bad? How's the latest upda... Ugh! nevermind they couldn't even make a decent screenshot showing off their new assets. I'll just skim this thread to see if anything has...
Oh man! This needs to be spun off in a new discussion. Yikes and LOL.
on an related note: The forum could use some fixing too! I wonder when they'll get around to it?
I guess everyone should buy RCT Classic™ for PC!!! so that Atari can afford to pay these new developers tasked with fixing the game.
:shrugs: ya got me. I don't get this either. Weird. Atari's just trying anything at this point. What customer demo are they after? Who is left that hasn't already been screwed over!? If anything this...
Imma +1 this! Good post.
I agree. The code needs a good scrubbing! From there it's a matter of fixing bad code then moving on to address problematic in-game features. So much of the game was optimized rather poorly, IMO....
Friendly Bump. Slight change of topic.
Anyone want to take a stab at "realistically" brainstorming on what RCTW needs to move forward. From Marketing to in-game developmental changes, let's set...
You're cynical.
Well stated!
Yep. Everything that needs to be said has been said one way or another on this forum. And that in itself is part of the problem. The RCT Forum is where our feedback goes to die. Want a response from...
Atari needs to understand two truths: 1) It takes more than a NAME to sell a product. 2) Fans make the franchise.
The RCT Franchise can begin the process of becoming stable if Atari can admit...
That's it in a nutshell.
Sales would increase. Player count would increase. Players would be more likely to purchase DLC if Atari was willing to put in the effort to re-establish itself as...
I agree. RCTW is flawed yet playable.
It would be "enjoyable" if the visuals more reflected those seen during beta. A bump in texture detail, true global illumination, and color corrections would...
Looking good!
