What do you mean with better? Might look a bit unrealistic when zooming out, because normal map resolution might change. Parallax shading is just visible when being near to the ground anyway :P

You thought it was parralax shading, but with tesselation, the terrain has less polys, when you zoom out, which is better for performance! ;)
