Steel is superior, but Wooden has a classic look to it. However, you can make a steel coaster look as if it is a classic Wood coaster, like California Screaming in Disney California Adventure, so it really is Jack of all trades.

Hm... Not sure... Wooden is fun and bouncy, but I would have to choose steel because of the smooth, and speedy coasters.

Steel. Wooden coasters are good but nothing beats a nice, smooth, intense B&M.

For my taste wooden coasters are too rough, even though I only rode one so far, Mammut @ Tripsdrill. My favorite coasters are Karacho @ Tripsdrill, Bluefire @ Europapark and Eurosat @ Europapark.
