Lagg?

I wanted to play Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum again, but however it laggs... It stutters all the time even when i can play games like FIfa 15, GTA etc all perfectly. But Rollercoaster will even stutter/lagging with the lowest setttings. Here are my specs:

- Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit

- Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.00GHz 57 °C
Haswell 22nm Technologie

- 8,00GB Dual-Kanaal DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24)

I think a i7 must be enough...

He exceeds the requirements dramatically, it cant be the CPU.

It could be that RCT is using your onboard graphics ( Intel HD Graphics 4600 (Gigabyte)) instead of the dedicated video card you installed (2048MBATI AMD Radeon HD 6570 (Sapphire/PCPartner))

Try plugging your monitor into the video card and disabling the intel graphics.

I know this forum is 6 months old but for anyone else that comes on here it's because of windows 8.1, definitely, same with me and a lot of youtube it seems. What you have to do is in the control panel go into device manager and downgrade your drivers (press upgrade on them but choose to 'update' to an old version.) The only problem with this is that you have to do it everytime you wanna play it and it takes 5 minutes maybe.
