Alright. Everyone replying to this thread must post at least one positive thing about what we know of the game so far.
I'll go first:

I like how the train stayed intact when it derailed.

I like that walls won't even be available when the game is released (meaning you can't make buildings like in RCT3)

I like everything positive that's already been in this thread! I also like the construction scaffolding around new buildings. That was a huge thread in the ideas forum that I'm almost positive inspired it. They actually do read the the threads and take ideas from it. Awesome!!

I also actually do like that Atari is giving us feedback period, no matter how much or how little it may be.

I like the inclusion of a flat ride that will still be a rollercoaster (the one we saw on the steam page). Too small to qualify as your normal coaster, but something like those tiny gator coasters I always see at carnivals. The peep designs are great, they have shapes now and you have more diversity. I like how it's going for a Disney feel as well, the other games don't really provide such an immersive experience.

I also am happy for restaurants and those buildings we saw. If only we could see the inside! I am trusting them to come up with great scenery too. I would love to see some animatronics of the mascots and possibly some dinosaurs-they were in the second and third games.

Liking the idea of the node system of the track editor. I have a feeling that it's going to be a really powerful edition to the franchise and we've always done track editing in the past, to me, can only be a good thing.

I'm also liking the idea of restaurants! I think they are gonna be a nice edition to our parks, I do wonder if we will be able to zoom all the way in and see peeps dining there.

Cannot remember if steam workshop ability was coming or not but the is just simply the absolute ultimate way for us players to share content, and coaster designs and tracks all in one place! It was hard even at the best of times to get a hold of all the custom content for RCT3 because stuff was littered everywhere on a few dozen websites until they all closed down. Which is another reason to go to steam workshop, it doesn't get shut down like websites do, so 2 yr old content will still be there!

Multiplayer is also another positive for me. Yes we know absolutely zero info so this could change but if it's done right I think this could be a damn awesome edition to the series... But has to be done right though. I Would like to see ability to compete for peeps against other players parks, I think lan or servers would be good but no MMO features please. I think coop creating a park with one or two of your buddies would really be awesome too.

That's all I can think of for now. Just waiting on more news at this point.

I concur. It is very pleasant news to hear about the engine upgrade. I was fearing that nothing would change.

Sorry, but I'm still skeptical. More general communication may fix it.
