Following on from what Paul B recently said about missing content this was posted when the game went into Early Access in March:

What comes next?

Our planned feature list is HUGE! Here’s a sneak peek at a few of the FREE updates to look forward to in the coming months:

Piece-by-Piece Custom Built Structures
Scenario Editor
Mini-rides and Dark Rides
Additional scenarios
Transport Rides
Fence Builder
New and expanded decoration themes
Additional Flat-rides
Weather
Custom music
New Rollercoaster types

1/2 year later you would expect the majority/all of the above to be implemented in the game but alas very little has been added and what has been has been of adequate quality. If you expect to have this all in the initial full release then god knows when that will be. Realistically will the game come out of early access before these are all ready?

I know its on another thread but, here's the full list "as it says on the box" so to speak.
Got this of a product description of a Boxed copy.

RollerCoaster Tycoon World™ is the newest installment in the legendary RCT franchise. This next-generation theme park simulation and building game includes fan-favorite features and incredible new advancements such as stunning 3D environments full of roller coaster thrills, exciting flat rides, eager guests, user-generated content, robust social features, and more – all in one massively fun game!

FEATURES

Powerful Building Tools:

• Freeform Object Placement: Control and place every single in-game object anywhere on the map at any angle. For our more casual users we are also providing ‘snap-to’ and ‘brush’ placement functionality to make this enhancement easy to use.

{Nope, we can't do this.}

• Curved Paths: Select your unique type of path from a variety of widths, styles, and shapes. You can make them straight or, for the first time in the franchise, curve them at almost any angle!

{Normal Paths, okay. Still not Que Paths.}

• Innovative 3D Track Editor: Create the coolest and wildest coasters imaginable with our best track editor ever! For the first time, using our spline based editor, tracks can be fully manipulated in 3D allowing you to create any shape you can dream up.

{Now this I do enjoy. It has this.}

• Fully Deformable Terrain and Water: Build amazing rides and change your park’s landscape in full 3D with completely deformable terrain and water.

{Nope. We can only Raise or Lower.}

• Expansive Selection of In-Game Objects: Entertain your park guests with many different types of coasters and rides all in eye-popping next generation resolution. Choose from pre-made rides and coasters to scenery and shops.

{There's not that many really. Yes there are more now with the PxP, but...}

Expansive Customization Support:

• UGC Tools: For the first time, you will be able to create your own scenery, peeps and more in any 3D editing program that works with Unity and import it into the game for everyone to use!

{This we have. A cool feature it has to said.}

• Multiple Maps and Themes: Choose from different environments and theme options to make each map unique.

{Nope. When do we get this then?}

Fully Realized Next-Generation Simulation:

• Detailed Park Management Tools: Run a successful theme park with the beautifully crafted User Interface that provides easy access to all of your park management tools. From park finances to the thoughts of your guests, everything is at your fingertips including new features – heat maps and tips.

{This is getting there. Though there is more work to be done.}

• Multiple Game Modes: Play the way you want in Sandbox mode, or complete varying challenges and quests in Scenario and Campaign modes.

{Yep. We got these.}

• Responsive Environments + Guests: Create themed zones in your park! Placing different themed rides and objects will affect not only ratings but increase its attractiveness to certain peeps.

{Once the Peeps' AI has been sorted, this may work properly.}

• Advanced Physics Calculations: The coasters in RCTW use a more complex physics simulation than any previous game in the franchise. This allows for amazing designs and a lifelike riding experience. Build a coaster that stays perfectly on its tracks or teeters on the brink of disaster; just be careful or your coaster may jump the rails!

{This works okay for some Coasters. But still needs a lot of tweaking.}

• Ride Every Coaster: Hop into the front seat of a coaster and ride what you made yourself!

{When this works, it doesn't work well. Clipping here, there and everywhere.}

• Innovative Services: Manage your park’s medical, janitorial, entertainment and mechanical needs with the re-designed, simple-yet-powerful services system.

{This one we have, in a way. Could be more customizable.}

Native Sharing and Social Features:

• Social Media Integration: Share all your cool creations and designs with your friends straight from within the game!

{Its there. But doesn't always work properly.}

• Freeform Cameras: Take a video at any angle; edit your park above, below, or next to a ride. Prefer an isometric view? We have that too!

{Nope. Its quite frustrating building in PxP not being able to look up.}

• Friend’s Lists and Stat Comparisons: See what your Steam and Social friends are up to in their games from within yours! It’s easy to see someone’s latest coaster or when they last edited their park.

{Nope.}

• Visit a Friend: Check out a friend’s park with a simple click! Chat with them and give them suggestions on what to do next while you’re there.

{WHAT! How cool would this be? But, Nope. Can't do that}

• Native Steam Workshop Support: Native Steam Workshop support is built right in the game! The interface has been simplified and centralized to make it easy for anyone from casual to hardcore to use. Custom scenery, blueprinted coasters, parks and more can be easily and seamlessly shared from within the game. UGC has been designed to be accessible and easy to use for everyone.

{Its there, but not always seamless like it says.}

So yeh, on top of everything else to be done to RCTW. There is still a hell of a lot of work to do to get it where it should be at.

Are they going in order, or at least roughly? I wonder because we got the first two but none of the others yet.... Weather and dark rides would be amazing. Can't wait to see all this stuff in the final game.

I remember that list going up. I remember creating a poll about it just prior to the games early access release. Still waiting on a lot of those FREE features to appear... I won't how long we'll have to wait...? I wonder if the game will leave early access before this list of features is fully implemented? And if so, will we get this full list? Atari, care to comment?

I know a while ago (long before EA was even mentioned) that originally UGC was supposed to be a post launch free update with the multiplayer visiting park aspect being included at launch but they were swapped.
I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a model like Cities:Skylines where we get the 'full release' followed by some free updates with optional paid updates to take further advantage of the new features

With the latest patch: Two coasters (flying and spinning) no longer have functional coaster cams, and all the coaster cams that are working have a "stuck" selection tool, so you get to ride along with the highly aggravating white outline.

Good post, btw.
