Hello, everyone! I've been planning this park for quite a while and I feel that it's time to start posting updates. This was originally planned for RCTLounge, but since that site is no longer running I'll be posting it here. Enough from me, It's time for me to introduce you all to Samuel Kittredge, who is the head of PR/Media Relations at Pacific Palms.

Hi, guys! My name is Samuel Kittredge. As was mentioned I handle all things PR here at the Palms. I look forward to updating you on all of the construction and other happenings and stories that take place here. The first phase of construction has been exciting for us. We've been able to finish the main entry gate ahead of schedule and have begun work on the entry plaza. I was able to take a few pictures as I walked to the office. I've posted them below. Thank you all again for checking us out, and we look forward to posting more for you soon.

The last picture I took on my way to the office... Nice to see the landscaping beginning to come together.

Well guys, that's all I have to post today. I look forward to updating you all again soon. I'll be taking more pictures as construction progresses. I personally can't wait until opening day.

Thanks,
- Sam

Hey guys! It's Sam Kittredge here from Pacific Palms with an update on our progress... Over the past couple of weeks or so we've been working nearly around the clock. We've constructed a few souvenir stalls and eating establishments, placed park furniture and lighting, and have begun the installation of our first attractions. We're very proud of our achievements so far.

It's my pleasure to announce the arrival of Typhoon!

Riders will experience intense forces and sensations unlike any other. I personally can't wait to take a spin!

Below are more photos I was able to take as we conducted an overview of our progress this past weekend.

Pacific Palms is also pleased to announce a partnership with local American cuisine franchise Humphrey's Bistro who plans on opening their newest location just inside our gates.

The newly constructed Pacific Amphitheater...
I was able to get on stage and bust a few moves, thankfully no one was watching:cool:. The view is incredible from where I was standing. Look at what I caught in the background! I asked if I could get some pictures but contractors have the area sealed off for safety purposes. Hopefully I can get some shots soon.

View from the entrance, things are shaping up. Got a great shot of Typhoon!

That's all for this update guys. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. And once again, thanks so much for stopping by and checking in on us!

This is awesome and I love the narrative you provide in updating us about your park. However, you have not yet let us know the opening date, how much the entrance fee is, and what your hours are. I also couldn't find your park on Facebook. :)

Great job!

Hey guys, I'm going to have to break character for a moment to inform you all that I've recently run into an issue with the game. I've been experiencing crashes because upon opening the coaster editor, my physical memory usage spikes to close to 100%. Not sure if this is a k own bug or not, as it's only begun happening recently. I hope to update you all on the park soon! I'll be in touch. Thanks for reading.

Thanks mrbigshot. I too, after update 10, had to stop developing my rides and parks. Like you, I had massive memory spikes and performance just tanked. It was an impossible environment for me to work in. It's too bad it's taking so long to get the next update out and a fix to the performance/memory issues brought on by the last update. Unfortunately, I've seen some big names move on.

I'm having similar problems when I try to load the coaster builder too :( hopefully a performance improvement along with the next big update :) finger crossed! Loving the park though. I haven't seen enough of these awesome park creations around.. the games is a little difficult now and then but hopefully the game gets better with age :) keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to visiting your park.

Any chance of some 2 for 1 tickets ? ;)

Wasteful

Sam Kittredge finally back again to share what we've been up to.

I'm proud to announce the completion of our largest attraction thus far.

Pacific Palms welcomes...

Our most ambitious project yet stands at 300ft. tall and reaches speeds approaching 80mph while giving riders stunning views of nearby beaches and the forward sections of the park. We'll certainly have more of Barracuda to show as time goes on, and I hope you'll stick around as we reveal more of what we have to come in the near future. Thanks as always for checking us out. We look forward to your visit.

Hello again everyone! It’s Samuel Kittredge back to update you all on construction progress and answer a couple of your questions. Let’s begin shall we?

The park has been a very busy place to work since I began these posts. We have contractors working nearly around the clock paving paths, constructing facilities, and of course installing attractions. Because of the amount of people we have working around the park, we are able to complete projects rather quickly. From what I understand, corporate is impressed with our work so far. I’ve been swamped with paperwork here, but as always I’ve made it a mission to snap a few pictures before leaving each day. Here’s what I’ve seen over the past few days…

http://i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p483/mrbigshot110/10a8550d-f42b-45ad-a225-ee5c7d02ef0a_zpstm3htg6m.png (http://s1152.photobucket.com/user/mrbigshot110/media/10a8550d-f42b-45ad-a225-ee5c7d02ef0a_zpstm3htg6m.png.html)
Barracuda getting some sun...

The new Italian House restaurant... An upscale Italian cuisine location that serves various pasta dishes and coffees. Located steps away from several major attractions.

A new ride has entered the lineup! It's sure to be a great addition to the park and an unforgettable thrill. I'm proud to announce....

http://i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p483/mrbigshot110/8a9cb08f-fc98-4536-aad7-62d6d2e2f2db_zps5tkwppte.png (http://s1152.photobucket.com/user/mrbigshot110/media/8a9cb08f-fc98-4536-aad7-62d6d2e2f2db_zps5tkwppte.png.html)

FearFall stands a just a short walk from Barracuda and I must say the two together make this particular midway an intimidating place! Along with the Pacific Amphitheater and several shops and eateries, FearFall and Barracuda tie this forward section of the park together quite nicely. Hopefully I can get some sort of shot of it all for you guys.

Lastly, here's a shot of FearFall I snapped as I passed through the area.

And now it's time for Q&A...

- Thank you for your feedback and support! At the moment, we're slated for an early 2017 opening date. I haven't gotten any info regarding an exact date, but I'd say expect to be able to visit mid - February or early March. As for ticket prices, our general admission is set at $59.99 plus tax per person. Children five and under are free. We'll be open year - round from 10AM to 10PM, however those hours are for peak travel season. During Fall/Winter months our hours will be 10AM to 8PM on a weekend - only basis. There are no plans for social media outlets at this time.
